Frequently Asked Questions
Here, you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our dog waste removal services. We aim to provide you with all the information you need to make your experience with us and hassle-free. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to our friendly team!

We assume service covers the entire property unless specified otherwise. Once you’ve purchased, we’ll confirm your target areas; the price remains the same regardless of the total area treated.
You bet we do! Rain, snow, or sunshine—we’re here to keep your yard poop-free all year long. Our team is always ready to take the ‘doo’ out of ‘poo,’ no matter the season. Book anytime, and we’ll handle the mess for you!
We prioritize both the cleanliness and safety. We rigorously clean all of our equipment and shoes between visits using kennel grade disinfectants. This ensures that each visit is as sanitary as possible and that no harmful pathogens are transferred between properties.
We believe in simple, fair pricing based on the actual "workload" rather than the size of your yard. Our rates are calculated using two main factors: the number of dogs and the frequency of service.
One-Time Cleanups
Unlike other companies that charge based on property size, our one-time cleanups are priced solely on the number of dogs. Whether you have a small patio or a sprawling acre, you only pay for the amount of waste we’re managing.
Recurring Service Plans
Our recurring plans are billed at a flat monthly rate based on a standard 4-week month. This allows for predictable billing every month.
Note: Monthly rates are adjusted based on the total number of dogs in the household.
Nope! All our plans are month-to-month—no strings attached. You can cancel anytime through your account or by contacting support. Just a quick note: once we’ve done the first cleanup of a billing cycle, that month isn’t refundable. Canceling stops all future charges right away. Simple and hassle-free!
We take the "dirty work" completely off your hands—and off your property!
Unlike some services that leave bagged waste in your personal trash bin, We Doo Poo provides full-service removal. After every cleanup, we securely collect the waste and haul it away to be responsibly disposed of at an off-site facility.
Our goal is to leave your yard—and your trash cans—completely fresh and odor-free.
We love dogs! 🐾 For safety and efficiency, we prefer your furry friends hang out in a designated area while we work. If your pup is friendly and non-aggressive, we’re happy to scoop with them around. For yard deodorization, though, we ask that all dogs stay inside until the yard dries (about 15–20 minutes). This keeps your pup safe and ensures the deodorizer works its magic. Thanks for understanding!
We understand the importance of keeping your outdoor space clean and pleasant. We offer flexible scheduling options to suit your needs. While you can certainly request a specific day for our waste management services, please note that availability may vary. If your desired day isn’t feasible due to scheduling constraints, we will work with you to find an alternative that still meets your needs. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction while maintaining a clean environment for your property. Book your service today, and let us take the 'doo' out of 'poo'!
Because the nature of outdoor work can be unpredictable, we do not provide exact arrival times. This flexibility allows our team to give every yard the thorough, high-quality cleanup it deserves without rushing.
Service Window: On your scheduled service day, your property will be visited between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM (daylight permitting). *In winter months when it becomes darker earlier services will be done by dusk typically around 5:00 PM
Stay Notified: You won't be left wondering! You will receive an "On the Way" notification via text or email 15–60 minutes before we arrive at your property.
This ensures you know exactly when we’re approaching, while allowing us to navigate the day’s route efficiently.
The You Scoop, We Haul program is designed for pet owners who prefer to handle daily scooping themselves while leaving the hauling and sanitation to us. There is a one time set up fee of $20 and a monthly service fee of $60. We provide everything you need to get started, including a 7-gallon bucket with a secure lid and a trash bag to line the bucket. You simply scoop your pet's waste and dispose of it directly into the lined bucket. Once per week, one of our technicians will visit your property to empty the bucket, clean & sanitize if necessary, along with installing a fresh trash bag liner. If your household's weekly pet waste exceeds the capacity of one 7-gallon bucket, you can request additional buckets at any time. The set up fee for additional buckets is waived and each additional bucket will be an additional $10 per month. Example if you add one extra bucket to a home already using one bucket, your total monthly fee would be $70 per month. If the amount of excess weekly pet waste does not warrant the need for an extra bucket, We'll be happy to supply you with an extra trash bag to sit along side of your bucket for us to haul away at no extra cost. This program offers a clean, convenient, and odor-controlled solution-without the hassle of hauling pet waste or having pet waste stink up your trash!
Yes, We Doo Poo thoroughly vets all field technicians through proven third-party background check providers, to ensure they are trust worthy and risk-averse during the interview process, and randomly throughout their employment with our company. This guarantees that only reliable professionals are allowed on your property, maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.
We accept cash payments for One-Time Service customers only. To ensure a smooth and safe experience for our team, please note our cash policy:
Pre-Payment & Pickup: Payment must be received before work begins. We can collect it on your scheduled service day (prior to starting) or swing by a day or two early to pick it up.
Invoicing: You will receive an invoice via email in advance. This total includes all applicable taxes so you know the exact amount due.
Exact Change Only: For the safety of our technicians, we do not carry cash and cannot provide change.
Overages: If exact change is not available, any amount provided above the invoiced total will be accepted as a gratuity for your technician.
Receipts: As soon as payment is collected, a digital receipt will be sent immediately to your email for your records.
At We Doo Poo, we understand that life can bring unexpected changes, such as a dog passing away, getting lost, or other circumstances that reduce the number of dogs in your home. We are committed to being flexible and compassionate in these situations. If your multi-dog service plan needs adjustment due to a decrease in dogs, simply contact us, and we will promptly revise your plan and pricing to reflect the current number of dogs you have. This ensures you only pay for the service you need while continuing to enjoy a clean and sanitary outdoor space.
No! At We Doo Poo, we have a flat-rate pricing system in place that focuses on the frequency of visits and the number of dogs producing the waste.
While other companies often charge more for larger yards, we do not. We believe this is the fairest way to do business—after all, a dog produces the same amount of waste whether they’re in a small yard or on a large acreage! By avoiding the "Request a Quote" model, we provide you with instant, transparent pricing without any hidden "large property" fees.
Yes. To provide the most thorough and high-quality cleanup possible, we ask that your yard be kept in a "serviceable" condition.
Grass Height: For us to effectively spot and remove all waste, grass should be kept at a reasonable length. If the grass is too tall, it becomes difficult (and sometimes impossible) to ensure we’ve cleared everything.
Debris & Leaves: Large amounts of debris, heavy leaf cover, or unmaintained areas can hide waste.
If a yard is unserviceable due to grass height or debris, we may have to skip service for that visit. Our goal is 100% cleanliness, and a well-maintained lawn helps us achieve that for you!
If we arrive and find the yard unserviceable, we will contact you immediately to reschedule once the area has been cleared or mowed.
Nope! We keep it simple with flat-rate pricing based on how often we visit and how many dogs are doing their business—not the size of your yard. Whether it’s a tiny patch or a sprawling lawn, our costs for travel, equipment cleaning, and waste disposal stay the same. This way, you get instant, transparent rates without any hidden fees or site visits. Easy peasy!
We operate on a 4-week billing cycle.
Bi-Weekly: 2 visits per 4-week cycle.
Weekly: 4 visits per 4-week cycle.
Twice-Weekly: 8 visits per 4-week cycle.
The Short Answer: No. We do not charge extra for those "bonus" visits that occasionally occur during a five-week month, provided your service remains active.
How it Works: We prioritize a consistent schedule for your property. We anticipate that some monthly cycles will include a fifth service visit before your next billing date. We will never break your service schedule simply because a fifth week falls within a single billing period.
The Exception (Cancellations): While the extra visit is included at no additional cost for our ongoing clients, it is not a "free" service in the event of a cancellation. If you decide to cancel your plan before your next anticipated billing date, we will charge a prorated amount for that extra visit. This rate reflects the single-visit cost based on the number of dogs on your specific plan.
Example:
Your Plan: 1 Dog, Weekly Service ($70.00/month).
The Scenario: Your next bill is due April 2nd. We perform a 5th service visit on March 31st. On April 1st, you decide to cancel.
The Adjustment: Since the 5th visit was performed but the next month’s subscription was not paid, a final charge of $17.50 (the cost of one visit) would be applied to close the account.
Note: If you do not cancel and continue your service into the next month, you are not charged for that extra day!
Moving? We’ve got you covered! If your new home is within our service area, your recurring plan moves with you. While your scheduled service day may change based on your new location and our local routing, your flat-rate pricing stays exactly the same—regardless of whether your new property is larger or smaller.
Absolutely! Life happens—whether you’re moving or just don’t need us anymore. You can cancel anytime. Just a heads-up: once a billing cycle starts and we’ve done the first cleanup, we can’t refund that month. But don’t worry, canceling stops all future visits and autopay. Easy as that!
We provide instant pricing right on our website. Simply enter the answers that fit your unique situation in the drop down menu on our residential pricing page and see your price instantly.
Unlike other companies that insist on sending a salesperson to your house to scout for upsells, we give you a unique price in seconds. You can book your service immediately, and the only time you’ll hear from us is a quick text or email to confirm your start date.
We provide our services to cities and towns across 8 counties in southeast Minnesota.
if your home is located in a city or town in the following 8 counties you're in our service area!
Olmsted County
Goodhue County
Wabasha County
Dodge County
Mower County
Fillmore County
Winona County
Steele County
*Hennepin & Ramesy Counties; unfortunately, we are only able to travel to the metro area for one-time cleanups. The pricing is the same, with an additional travelling fee of $40 per visit.
Example: A one-time one dog clean up is $100 normally. Traveling to the metro incurs an
additional $40 fee; making the price $140 for the visit.
We are based in Olmsted County, and we primarily service our local and neighboring communities. Because these areas are within our daily coverage zone, we can easily offer them both one-time and recurring services.
While we are happy to travel to Hennepin and Ramsey Counties for one-time cleanups, the distance prevents us from providing the consistent, reliable schedule required for recurring visits.
Our commercial rates are based on a formula factoring in property size, visit frequency, and the time required for a Field Tech to complete the service. We bill at a base rate of $125 per acre, which averages out to one hour of labor. For accuracy, we measure and price properties in quarter-acre (15-minute) increments and round up to the nearest quarter. (For example, a 3/5 acre property is priced at the 3/4 acre rate). Your final estimate will combine this property breakdown with your chosen service frequency.
